Trading post is building which can be built by players and its primary purpose is to improve trade between players. It's function will be similar to the auction we know from other games. Player will place item(s) he wishes to sell in the trading post and he will set the price for it. Every player can see his trade offer in every trading post, but to buy this item, one will have to bring his gold to the post where the item is stored and conduct the trade here. In short, every trading post will show every trade offer, but only one post will be able to sell/buy the desired item(s). [1]
However, every player should remember that items stored in the trading post are not completely safe. If your guild is in war with some other guild, members of that guild can invade your settlement and loot your trading post(s), but they will be able to only loot a part of it's contents.[2]

Private Storage
The storage of a trading post is private per character. One character cannot take items from another character's private storage.
The private storage limit is 100 stones. However a character can increase his/her private storage's limit by paying a sum of coin or god favor every in-game day.
It is possible to fill the private storage above the storage limit, but then random items will be removed from the private storage at dawn until it is within the limit.
Market
The items in a character's private storage can be put up for sale, allowing everyone in the world to its price and location.
To purchase an item off the market you have to travel to the trading post that has the item for sale with your coin in hand. Once at the trading post you deposit some coin and purchase the item, which will then appear in your private storage of the trading post.
