Level	Description
All	Maximum quality of spears that can be effectively used.
0	Can use spears.
30	Pike and spear attacks become twice as fast.
60	Can perform "Wall of pikes" attack. It is a special thrusting pike attack that makes you immobile, deals massive damage to horses and always stops them.
90	A greater chance of unsaddling a rider using overhead attacks
100	Trickmove

Spear mastery is one of the three tier 2 combat skills in the Chivalry branch. It allows to use spears and pikes in combat. Level 30 of Chivalry is required to learn this skill. To increase Spear mastery past level 30, Chivalry skill must be at level 60.

You can use a basic spear, find a friend with a shield of any kind and strike it repeatedly or use a training dummy and strike it with the shaft instead of the tip when hitting on a close range.
