The Mutton is a wild animal and tamable. Skinned Mutton carcasses will provide the player with Game meat, Sheepskins and Bones. Animal Parts also drop if Hunting is at least 90.

Taming a Mutton will add 1 Ram, Mountain Ram, Sheep or Mountain Sheep to the players inventory, depending on the region the Mutton is tamed in. There is no wild female version.

  • Note: Muttons and all other animals have to stand still to attack what makes it easy to kite them. Muttons will lay down if they are at low HP.

Taming[edit | edit source]

Taming requires Animal Lore level 30.

Rams only accept peas and cabbages in taming attempts.
